Your Seat Allocations

In order to enhance your enjoyment and safety upon arriving at the theatre, an ArtsPower representative or usher will meet you in the lobby and will accompany you to your assigned seats. This way, you and your students are seated quickly and comfortably. Determining seat assignments in advance represents ArtsPower’s commitment to providing outstanding service to our guests.

In order to assign seats in an objective and equitable manner, the following factors are taken into consideration:

1. Age/Average Height of Your Students
We try and place the smallest children in the front sections so that their sightline to the stage is unimpeded. Even though your order may have been processed earlier, ArtsPower will not place 6th graders in front of a group of much smaller children. Over the past 12 years, we have received a great deal of positive feedback regarding the humane seating of our guests.

2. Date the Order is Placed
This is the date when your order (by phone, fax, or email) is entered into our computerized box office system. The earlier you order, the better your seat allocation will be (unless there are significantly smaller children who are also attending).

People with Disabilities

ArtsPower is committed to providing equal accessibility to all of our guests in every Field Trip Series theatre. Designated seating is provided for guests with disabilities. In addition, we will make every effort possible to seat children and adults who use wheelchairs or scooters with the other members of their group.

People with assisted listening devices will be seated as close to the stage as possible in order to minimize the distance between their transmitter and receiver. ArtsPower will provide scripts to sign interpreters who accompany their school group. Sign interpreters will be provided at the theatre if a student with hearing impairment is not accompanied by their own sign interpreter.

Late Seating Policy

Late arriving guests may be asked to wait until the first appropriate seating opportunity. We will hold late-comers out of respect of the performers and audience members who are seated prior to show time. This policy also applies to those who may step out of the theatre during a performance.

Arrival Time

Please arrive early so that we may attend to your needs and usher you to your seat before curtain time. We recommend that you arrive at the entrance to the theatre at 10:00 am for 10:30 am performances, and at 12:00 pm for 12:30 pm performances.

Recording Devices

ArtsPower does not allow still cameras, video cameras, or any audio recording devices in the hall during a performance.

Electronics

For the courtesy of performers and our guests, please turn off all pagers, cellular telephones and alarms on watches before you step into the theatre. Please remind your students to do the same.

Food and Drink

ArtsPower does not permit food or drink in the hall including closed or sealed containers and bottles of water. We appreciate your cooperation.

All of us at ArtsPower want our guests, actors, and production staff to enjoy each and every field trip performance!
